Elstree Studios: A Celebration of 1960s and 70s TV was a live event, hosted by the studios as the last of their 90th anniversary celebrations. The event included special guests, a sold out audience, live music and content prepared specially for the event by me.
I edited two reels – the first was a montage of 60s and 70s TV shows filmed at the studios, and the second was a reel of Diana Rigg’s best moments as Emma Peel in “The Avengers”. The event also included a tribute to the late Sir Roger Moore, and I prepared a five minute documentary featuring unseen interview footage I had filmed with Sir Roger. The TV montage and documentary were edited in DaVinci Resolve 14 and the “Emma Peel Reel” was edited in Avid Media Composer with the permission of the rights holders, StudioCanal. The Emma Peel reel is viewable from the “Launch Project” link above.
I also filmed the event, with a crew of two additional camera operators, and provided live feeds to large LED screens for the audience to view. We filmed on BlackMagic Ursa Pro 4.6K cameras.
